Alain Vergari started playing golf at age 5 under the guidance of his father, a golf instructor. He turned professional in 1993 and competed for over ten years on international tours. In 2003, he opened a practice course in Piacenza with his father and brother, beginning his career as a coach. From 2014, he joined the regional staff of the Emilia-Romagna Golf Federation, becoming Regional Coach for Emilia-Romagna and Marche in 2015 for ten years. Since 2017, he has been part of the national men’s team technical staff and, in 2025, became Vice Technical Commissioner of the Men’s National Team. In 2014, he founded his Academy at Croara Country Club.
