Slight dogleg to the left with a lake covering much of the left side of the fairway, making it fraught with danger. Your second shot is fairly easy, as long as you take care to avoid the bunkers on both sides of the green.

Downhill par 5, giving the strongest players a good chance of a very long tee shot. Try to keep your second shot to the left side of the fairway to avoid the two bunkers on the right on the way to the green, which is itself guarded by two further bunkers.

This par 4 is not long, with the second half being uphill.
Aim your tee shot to the left of the fairway to avoid the bunker and to get a better angle into the green. Your second shot is almost blind because of the steep uphill slope. You might want to check the pin position and work out how far it is from the deep bunkers guarding the green.

The longest par 3 of the course. Take your time before choosing what tee shot to play, as it very much depends on your level. The multi-tiered green is surrounded by a steep fringe.

A par 5 with water hazards almost the whole way down the left side of the fairway. Keep to the right, making sure not to knock your tee shot straight into the bunker. Measure your approach shot to the multi-tiered green with its rather steep “steps”.

An especially tricky par 4 with a water hazard on the left and the out of bounds on the right. Your second shot (or third, depending on your level) needs to carry the lake. Try to avoid pitching on the steep banks guarding the green.

The length of this par 4 hole makes it the toughest par on the course, although there are no particular hazards. Choose the right club carefully for your approach shot up the final slope and avoid the deep bunkers guarding the green.

This par 3 is short but tricky, with out of bounds on the right and two deep bunkers guarding the green on both sides, leaving just a narrow uphill opening if you pitch it a bit short. Though it is mainly uphill, the green is rather undulating.

Hole 18

Par 4 with a spectacular view of the clubhouse from the raised tees, especially in the afternoon with the sun behind you. Make sure your tee shot avoids both the double water hazard and the two bunkers on the right. For your approach shot, keep to the right to avoid the bunker guarding the green.
